It would hurt so much more if she stepped on it and ripped a chunk out.

I think a straight-across cut makes the tail look fuller, btw.Funderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06358687366401205336noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1337630996375311973.post-73816948554789286612012-03-19T21:08:45.239-07:002012-03-19T21:08:45.239-07:00Poor you! haha You should see how long it can get!...Poor you! haha You should see how long it can get! We had a pleasure horse that the ranch with a tail that was dragging like 6inches. He was a pretty tall horse so his tail was suuuper long.GraceEquestrianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00169642107766085228noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1337630996375311973.post-63845203500823276992012-03-19T16:41:49.479-07:002012-03-19T16:41:49.479-07:00I have to cut Max's tail every few weeks becau...I have to cut Max's tail every few weeks because his drags on the ground also- I only trim it just enough so it doesn't drag around. I'm pretty sure I'm the only person at my barn with this problem (every month or so!)Lynnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05836196217637459257noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1337630996375311973.post-22871874392188936942012-03-19T13:56:09.925-07:002012-03-19T13:56:09.925-07:00I am so glad none of my horses are very white, I t...I am so glad none of my horses are very white, I think it's so gross when they get yellow tails- yuck! I'm sure you keep Pipi's long and beautiful, and it'll give you a new task once you're all heeled up. It's always nice to have something to work on!GraceEquestrianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00169642107766085228noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1337630996375311973.post-36423892524865791562012-03-19T13:54:36.068-07:002012-03-19T13:54:36.068-07:00Baby oil will help soften up her mane! I also really like show sheen, it makes hair suuuper soft, cowboy magic works well too though.GraceEquestrianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00169642107766085228noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1337630996375311973.post-12572508234811368492012-03-19T06:24:20.349-07:002012-03-19T06:24:20.349-07:00Pippi has a full beautiful tail but the white at t...Pippi has a full beautiful tail but the white at the top wouldn't grow out bc she always rubbed it out. Before I broke my leg I was braiding it like you did Roxy's and it had grown a bunch but now that I am on bed rest I am sure it as all gone to hell. Same with my mini Chance. Pippis mane is four or five inches probably.Mirandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07368532091786233188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1337630996375311973.post-24754811799615203632012-03-19T05:33:17.500-07:002012-03-19T05:33:17.500-07:00Shyloh has a beautiful tail. I have to trim a few inches off every few months because it does hang on the ground.
Her mane is another story. . .when I got her, another horse had feasted on sections of the mane. It is growing out now. I just wish her hair was a bit softer.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02168070368360018750noreply@blogger.com
